KEEPING IN TOUCH . . . with Parents

The work of the school needs the full support of parents. To this end opportunities are provided for parents to meet members of staff. Special interviews are arranged on request with Heads of Key Stage, Heads of Department, Careers Staff, the Deputy Heads and Headteacher. Once a term an interim report is compiled for each student's parents and a full report is issued once  per year.  Parents are invited to all school activities, games and functions. A calendar giving details of these is issued to parents at the beginning of the school year. School Policies can be viewed on request.

NEWSLETTER

We send the parents of every student a newsletter on a regular basis. Our newsletters contain information about current educational news, reports of activities going on in school and items regarding individual children. A copy of our most recent newsletter is in the flap at the back of this brochure.

FRIENDS OF GREENFIELD (F.O.G.)

F.O.G. is an informal group of parents of past, present and future students who are interested in organising a number of events during each year.

A new committee is formed each September, and all parents are invited to participate in the running of the Committee and in supporting the events organised. These events cover a wide spectrum of interests, sporting, cultural and educational as well as fund raising events. The proceeds of these events go into School Funds to enrich the education provided for your children. If you feel that you can contribute in any way then please contact the school (01325 300378).
