Our friendly, caring and high achieving Community & Arts College.

Here at Greenfield our staff of over fifty teachers help our school community to achieve beyond their expectations by providing them with a lively and challenging programme of lessons and extra curricular activities. 

We are currently over-subscribed as a result of the many pupils who wish to join us from the local primary schools in Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas.  

We are proud that, at the end of their time with us, the majority of our students feel equipped and eager to take up the opportunities offered at a range of Further Education Colleges including Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Darlington.

As a community school we offer educational opportunities beyond the classroom. 

We have developed a thriving Arts Centre and currently offer a varied and exciting programme of daytime and evening activities each week. 

We will shortly become a major centre for community sports.  Our new sports hall will be completed in October 2006 and will complement our floodlit synthetic soccer pitch and floodlit tennis courts.

So, as you can see, life at Greenfield is always busy and always dynamic, taking teachers, parents, the wider community and, most importantly our pupils, forwards into the exciting world of education and learning.
